PRESCRIPTION PAIN MEDS IN MY HOME

I am a single mother with three kids at home (10, 16, 18). They are good kids and I trust them. However, I would like to do my part and safely store my prescription pain medications. Right now, I just keep them in my sock drawer. Where do you suggest I put them to keep them safe?

Actually, I was doing the same thing and felt I could do better. I went out and purchased a small lock box ($15), which I now use to store my pain pills. I still put it in my sock drawer, but now they are locked up.
