DROP-OFF LOCATIONS

Where can I take my leftover prescription pain drugs if I don't have a drop-off location nearby? Will the pharmacist take them back? Or, is there a way I can dispose of them myself? I don't have too many, just a few bottles, but I want to do this the safe and proper way.
